Arrive READY TO DANCE in correct costume, shoes, tights, hair and all accessories if at all possible. ALL rehearsals are dress ( in costume )
MAKE UP Requirements for dancers;
- 10 & under: red lipstick, blush, some eyeshadow (neutral tones)
- 11 & older: red lipstick, blush, full eye makeup with eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow (neutral tones), foundation/contour/highlighter as needed
- NO jewelry, nail polish, or visible bra straps.
HAIR Requirements for dancers:
Cinderella: mid/high bun, no part
Matine Show Second Half: high ponytail (lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, etc.)
ALL ABBA routines: high ponytail BRAID
Evening Show Second Half: middle part, low ponytail

DANCER CALL TIME FOR SHOWS:
Matinee – 12pm for ALL Ballet dancers. 1:45pm for dancers not in ballet.
Evening – 4:30pm for ALL ballet dancers. 6:15pm for dancers not in ballet
SATURDAY, MAY 30TH – MANDATORY THEATER DRESS REHEARSAL – ALL dancers 1st – 12th grade. Dancers must be in attendance to perform. NO exceptions! CLICK TABS BELOW FOR TIMES.
SUNDAY, MAY 31st – SPRING 2026 PERFORMANCES – 12:30pm and 5pm. CAST LIST HERE
THEATER REHEARSALS ARE CLOSED TO ALL EXCEPT JDA STAFF, VOLUNTEERS AND DANCERS IN PERFORMANCE.

Saturday, May 30th – Marin Center Exhibit Hall- 10 Avenue of the Flags.. Dancers may leave once they have finished rehearsing ALL their routines.
9:30-11:45 – Matinee show SECOND HALF rehearsal – ALL Dancers in SECOND HALF of Matinee performance
12:30- 4pm – Ballet rehearsal – ALL ballet dancers.
4:30-7:30- Evening Show SECOND HALF Rehearsal – ALL Dancers in SECOND HALF of Evening performance including Graduates
