Ms. Deanna Masgay is the owner and director of the Just Dance Academy. Ms. Deanna began the Just Dance program in Marin county in 1993. Her training includes intensive training in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical from the age of 5 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Ms. Deanna became a professional dancer at the age of 18 performing with companies in Canada, the U.S., South America and Japan. Deanna graduated Cum Laude from Sonoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in teaching.

Ms. Deanna strives to achieve a dance program which promotes technically sound dance instruction with an emphasis on allowing students to experience the joy in the process of learning to dance as well as the joy of performance. Additionally the Just Dance Academy accommodates the recreational dancer as well as dancers seeking intensive dance training.
