Dress Code

Ballet

All Ballet Classes – Tidy Bun. Use a hair net that matches hair color, bobby pins, gel and/or hairspray to secure. Check out this tutorial! All dancers should have their own hair items (hair ties, hair net, bobby pins, hair spray, and brush). Teacher assistants are happy to assist with hair.

• Black tank leotard or black camisole leotard (Level 6 & up may wear colored leotards)
• Pink ballet tights
• Pink ballet shoes – (Leather for Levels Beginning through Ballet 4. Canvas OR leather ok for Ballet 5, Teen Ballet & advanced classes)
• Ballet skirt – optional

Clips helpful for buns for class

Twinkle Toes – Ballet + Tap

• Any color tank/camisole leotard – no sleeves
• Pink ballet tights- footed
• Pink ballet shoes
• Black Mary Jane style tap shoes (velcro shoes only)
• Pink elastic waist skirt
• Hair in a bun

Combo Jazz

• Black tank leotard
• Black jazz pants, leggings or jazz shorts
• Black ballet shoes (same for boys)
• Black Mary Jane style tap shoes (velcro shoes only)
• Boys – t-shirt instead of leotard (white or black)
• Hair pulled back in a ponytail

Jazz Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4

• black tank or camisole leotard
• black jazz shorts or leggings
• Beige slip-on jazz shoes
• Hair pulled back in a ponytail

Jazz Levels 5 & up

• Same as above OR tight fitting sport top or crop top. Colored shorts or leggings are ok.
• Beige jazz slip-on shoes (half sole contemporary shoes may be required for advanced classes)

Contemporary/Lyrical

Leotard or form-fitting top. Jazz shorts or leggings. Half soles or Specified by instructor. Hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Hip Hop

No official attire required. T-shirt or tank top, shorts or leggings and CLEAN sneakers. No jeans. Hair pulled back in a ponytail.
